That’s the heart of DMV Auto Alliance — a nonprofit organization built to unite automotive enthusiasts in the DC–Maryland–Virginia region, elevate car culture, and create meaningful impact through events, education, and community service.

What Is the DMV Auto Alliance?

The DMV Auto Alliance is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization rooted in the belief that automotive passion can be a force for good. Our mission is simple but powerful:
to strengthen community bonds through automotive events, education, service, and collaborative experiences that celebrate enthusiasts while giving back.

We do this through:

From car shows and cruise-ins to collaborative meetups, we design automotive experiences that are:

  • inclusive of all makes and models,

Who Is Behind DMV Auto Alliance?

At the core of our organization are passionate volunteers and champions of automotive culture — people who believe in positive impact over ego. One of the driving forces behind this movement is Marlia “Buckets” — Founder, Community Advocate, and Automotive Culture Builder.

With roots deeply planted in car shows,  rc's, drag racing and automotive passion, Buckets has spent 20 years bridging gaps between enthusiasts, event partners, and community leaders. As a Modified Chicks Exec. of events, Ms. Motorama competitor, and motorsports enthusiast, she brings:

  • community vision

  • operational leadership

  • strategic partnerships

  • and most importantly, heart to everything DMV Auto Alliance does.

Buckets helps leads the Alliance with other board members by:

  • organizing and hosting events,

  • coordinating volunteers and partnerships,

  • advocating for safe and inclusive car culture,

  • and ensuring that every initiative aligns with the nonprofit’s mission.
