From Garage to Crown:  My Miss Motorama 2023 Journey

When people see the title Miss Motorama 2023, they often think it happened overnight.

But this moment was built on years of passion, persistence, and patience

For over 20 years, I’ve lived and breathed the automotive lifestyle — modifying cars, airbrushing builds, competing in shows, judging events, drag racing at tracks, and building community through car culture. Motorama wasn’t just another event for me. It was a full-circle moment.

What Motorama Means:

Motorama is one of the largest all-indoor motorsports shows in the country. It brings together race cars, show builds, RC racing, off-road vehicles, drifting, and custom fabrication under one roof. It’s not just a car show — it’s a celebration of motorsports culture.

Being part of that environment felt natural to me. This is my world.

But stepping into the pageant portion was different.

Stepping Outside My Comfort Zone

Competing for Miss Motorama wasn’t about looks. It was about representation.

It was about showing that:

• Women build cars.

• Women lead in automotive spaces.

• Women can represent motorsports with knowledge and authenticity.

As someone who has:

• Built and modified multiple vehicles

• Hosted and judged car shows

• Drag raced at tracks

• Led RC motorsport events

• Served as an Event Executive with Modified Chicks
  

I wasn’t stepping into something new — I was standing fully in who I already was.

The Moment My Name Was Called

When they announced Miss Motorama 2023 and called my name, time slowed down.

It wasn’t just a crown.
It was validation.

Validation for:

• Every late night in the garage.

• Every show setup.

• Every time I had to prove I knew what I was talking about.

• Every time I chose integrity over clout.

• Every time I represented car culture with positivity.

That crown represented more than me — it represented every female enthusiast who has ever felt overlooked in motorsports.
